NorthBridgeTalent Inc. ("NorthBridgeTalent," "we," "us," or "our") operates a hiring agency platform that mediates connections between verified Canadian employers and screened candidates. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website, submit a hiring enquiry, apply for a role, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Services.

02Our global operations

NorthBridgeTalent is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, and has expanded to include remote (work-from-home) teams based in India and the United Kingdom. Our India and UK-based recruiters process employer enquiries and candidate applications as part of the same recruiter-reviewed process described throughout this policy.

We also hire India-based candidates directly for roles with Canadian employers and NGOs; every such role is fully remote (WFH). If you apply for one of these roles, your information may be reviewed by recruiters located in India, Canada, or the UK, and may be transferred between these locations as described in Section 12, International users.

03Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, and limited information collected automatically when you use our Services.

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify employers and roles before a posting is made live
• Review and evaluate candidate applications against open roles
• Facilitate communication between our recruiters and both employers and candidates
• Respond to enquiries and provide customer support
• Maintain the security and integrity of our Services
• Improve our website and hiring process
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

05How we share it

NorthBridgeTalent acts as an intermediary. We do not share candidate information with an employer, or employer information with a candidate, without the relevant review step in our process. Specifically:

• Candidates: Your application is reviewed by a NorthBridgeTalent recruiter first. Your profile is only shared with the relevant employer if you are shortlisted for that role.
• Employers: Your hiring enquiry and role details are verified by a recruiter before any posting goes live under your organization's name.
• Service providers: We may share information with vendors who support our operations, such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers, under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

We do not sell personal information.

06Candidate data & the review process

When you apply through NorthBridgeTalent, your details are sent to us, not directly to the employer. A recruiter reviews every application before any information is passed along. If your profile is not shortlisted for a particular role, we may retain your details to consider you for other suitable openings, unless you ask us to delete your information.

07Cookies & tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and improve functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the site's functionality.

08Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining candidate profiles for future role matching, meeting legal and record-keeping obligations, and resolving disputes. You may request deletion of your information at any time, as described below.

Our Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the legal working age in their province. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12International users

NorthBridgeTalent operates in Canada, with remote teams based in India and the United Kingdom, and our Services are directed at employers and candidates in all three regions. Depending on where you are located and which role you apply for, your information may be accessed by, or transferred to, our recruiters in Canada, India, or the UK for the purposes described in this policy.

If you are an India-based candidate applying for a role with a Canadian employer or NGO, your information will typically be reviewed by our India-based recruiting team first, then shared with the relevant Canadian employer only if you are shortlisted — following the same process described in Section 06. We take reasonable steps to ensure information transferred across these locations remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy, regardless of which country it is processed in.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
