01Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and NorthBridgeTalent Inc. ("NorthBridgeTalent," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website and hiring services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

02Our role as an intermediary

NorthBridgeTalent is a hiring agency that mediates connections between employers and candidates. We are not an employer of record for positions posted by third-party organizations, and we do not guarantee employment or a successful hire to any party. Every role posting is verified by a recruiter before going live, and every application is reviewed by a recruiter before being shared with an employer.

03Global operations & remote hiring

NorthBridgeTalent is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, and also operates remote (work-from-home) recruiting teams based in India and the United Kingdom. References in these Terms to "our recruiters" or "NorthBridgeTalent" include team members working remotely from these locations, who operate under the same standards described in these Terms.

We recruit India-based candidates directly for roles with Canadian employers and NGOs. All such India-based roles are fully remote (work-from-home). If you are an India-based candidate, your employment relationship, once placed, is with the hiring employer or NGO — not with NorthBridgeTalent — and any employment terms, compensation, and work arrangements will be set out separately by that employer.

04Terms for employers

If you submit a hiring enquiry, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the organization named in your submission, and that the role details you provide are accurate and lawful. NorthBridgeTalent reserves the right to verify, decline, edit, or remove any posting at its discretion, including postings that appear misleading, discriminatory, or non-compliant with applicable employment laws.

05Terms for candidates

If you submit an application, you represent that the information and materials you provide (including any resume or portfolio links) are accurate and belong to you. NorthBridgeTalent reviews applications and, at its discretion, presents shortlisted candidates to relevant employers. We do not guarantee that any application will result in an interview or offer.

Where a role is listed as remote / work-from-home — including all India-based roles with Canadian employers and NGOs — the work arrangement, equipment, and any related expectations are set by the hiring employer, not by NorthBridgeTalent.

06Fees

Applying for a role through NorthBridgeTalent is free for candidates. Employers may be subject to placement or service fees, which will be communicated and agreed upon separately before any engagement begins. Nothing in these Terms constitutes a fee agreement on its own.

07Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any enquiry or application
• Attempt to bypass our recruiter-mediated process to contact an employer or candidate directly
• Post or transmit unlawful, discriminatory, or harassing content
• Interfere with the operation or security of our website
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse data displayed on our website
• Use the Services for any purpose that violates applicable law

08Content accuracy

While we take reasonable steps to verify role postings and application details, NorthBridgeTalent does not warrant that all content on the Services is complete, current, or error-free. Employers and candidates are each responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit.

09Intellectual property

The NorthBridgeTalent name, logo, website design, and related content are the property of NorthBridgeTalent Inc. and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent, except as necessary to use the Services as intended.

10Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. NorthBridgeTalent does not guarantee any specific hiring outcome, response time, or level of service availability.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NorthBridgeTalent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of hire, or loss of business.

12Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to NorthBridgeTalent, other employers, or candidates.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles, regardless of whether you access the Services from Canada, India, the UK, or elsewhere. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
